If you are a member or regular attender at 3RG I want to personally encourage you to make a friend and invite a friend. Who are some people in your life whom you could befriend, with whom you could share the love of Christ? There are people who live around you. There are people in your workplace. There are Facebook friends. There are extended family members. There are people you interact with at school activities, kid’s sporting events, at the gym, etc. Start praying for some of these individuals specifically. Think of ways you can get to know them better.
Maybe you could invite some people over for a simple dessert at your house, or a cookout, or take a plate of cookies to a neighbor. Watch a ballgame with someone. Be creative about how you can be a friend to others.
As you develop these friendships, think of inviting a friend to attend your small group with you this fall. We hope to have clear, Gospel-centered studies that will be accessible for unbelievers and young believers. Let this be our prayer and goal this fall: to make new friends and invite them to participate in these opportunities to learn about who Jesus is and what He has done for sinners like you and me.
Praying with you,
