#MondayMeditation: A meditation on the Scriptures in a 140 words or less
During difficulty, believers might question God's control. Bad happens and, knowing God is good, we wonder whether He knows what’s happening. Are God's hands tied?
But maybe you feel secure in and certain of the idea of God’s sovereignty, yet you are left antsy. Maybe you’re thinking, “I know God is in control. I just don’t like what He's doing!” That’s not a struggle with God’s sovereignty as much as it is a struggle with His goodness.
So, God’s sovereignty isn’t enough. We must relish in His goodness as well. Sovereign....and always good.
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11 ESV)
